How close to 0% house edge can you actually play?
No casino game has a true 0% house edge — the house always keeps a structural advantage. But there is one honest lever that pushes your effective edge toward zero: rakeback. This calculator takes a game's published edge, applies an operator's rakeback, and shows you the effective edge, effective RTP, and net monthly cost of your real play. Find the combination that gets you closest to 100% RTP, then play it.
The honest version of "0% house edge"
Search "0% house edge casino" or "100% RTP games" and you'll find a lot of marketing and very little maths. Here is the truth: every commercial casino game is built with a positive house edge. A game returning exactly 100% would mean zero expected revenue for the operator — it does not exist as a base game. The closest published edges in 2026 are Duel Blackjack at 0.1%, live blackjack on basic strategy at 0.5%, and Stake / BC.Game originals at 1.0%.
So how do players legitimately reach ~0%? Rakeback. When an operator returns a percentage of the edge you generate, that cash flowing back offsets the cash flowing to the house. Play a 1% game with rakeback that returns half the edge, and your effective edge is 0.5%. Play Duel's 0.1% blackjack against its 50% lifetime rakeback and you are wagering at roughly 0.05% effective edge — about as close to free as commercial gambling gets. Stack a no-wagering cashback or a low-rollover deposit bonus on top and your effective RTP can briefly exceed 100% — that's bonus EV, captured once, not a permanent 0% game.
How the calculator works
Effective edge = base game edge × (1 − rakeback fraction). Rakeback is modelled the standard way — as a percentage of the house edge returned to you. The base game's maths never changes; rakeback is a separate cash flow back to your balance.
Net cost / month = your monthly wager × effective edge. This is the expected long-run cost of your play after rakeback. Variance means any single month will differ, but over volume your results converge here.
Effective RTP = 100% − effective edge. It is the share of every wagered dollar you expect back once rakeback is counted.
Where the lowest effective edge lives
| Operator | Rakeback | Best low-edge game | Effective edge | Play |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Duel | 50% lifetime (80% on Duel Blackjack) | Duel Blackjack (0.1%) | ~0.05% | Duel → |
| Roobet | 20% cashback, no wagering | Live Blackjack Privé (0.5%) | ~0.40% | Roobet → |
| Stake | VIP rakeback (~10%) | Stake Originals (1.0%) | ~0.90% | Stake → |
| Rainbet | 10% weekly, on-demand | Originals (1.0%) | ~0.90% | Rainbet → |
| BC.Game | VIP + BC staking (~8%) | BC.Game Crash (1.0%) | ~0.92% | BC.Game → |
Three rules to get nearest to zero
- Pick the lowest-edge game in your format. Duel Blackjack (0.1%) and live blackjack on basic strategy (0.5%) beat everything. For instant provably-fair action, Stake / BC.Game originals at 1.0% beat Roobet Crash (3.5%) by more than 3×.
- Route your volume through the highest rakeback. Duel's flat 50% lifetime rakeback — no tier grind, no claim — is the strongest published return on the operators we cover. It is the single biggest lever for compressing real-world edge.
- Never touch side bets or bonus bets. Insurance is 7.5% edge, Perfect Pairs 4.1%, 21+3 around 3.7%. One side bet undoes the low-edge game you carefully chose. Play the base game only.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a 0% house edge casino game?
No base game has a true 0% edge. The closest published in 2026 is Duel Blackjack at 0.1%, then live blackjack on basic strategy at 0.5%. You only reach an effective 0% by combining a low-edge game with rakeback or bonus value that returns the edge to you.
What does 100% RTP actually mean?
RTP (return to player) is 100% minus the house edge. A genuine 100% RTP game would return every wagered dollar on average — no operator publishes one. Effective RTP above 100% happens only momentarily, when rakeback or a low-wagering bonus overlays an already-low-edge game.
Which operator gets me closest to 0%?
On the operators we cover, Duel's flat 50% lifetime rakeback combined with its 0.1% blackjack produces the lowest effective edge — roughly 0.05%. Roobet's 20% no-wagering cashback on live blackjack is the next-best mainstream option.
Does rakeback really reduce the house edge?
In expected-value terms, yes. The game's structural edge is unchanged, but rakeback is cash returning to your balance that offsets it. A 1% game with rakeback returning half the edge nets out to a 0.5% effective edge. For high-volume play, rakeback is the most powerful lever you have.
